AFTER

BEFORE

The environment in which we work can have a significant impact on our productivity, mood, and overall well-being. It’s important to find a workspace that not only meets our needs but also provides us with the necessary space and lighting to excel at our job.

We understand the importance of creating Covid-safe working environments that are not only functional but also aesthetic. Recently, we worked with Amberta Jewellery to design a workspace that would allow their business to continue trading while keeping their employees safe.

TECHNICAL TIPS FOR the projects’ success

In our design we follow to create these three principles:

1- Creating a well-lit workspace

2- Finding the right space for the workspace

3- Incorporating Natural Elements into  the office space

1- Creating a well-lit workspace:

A well-lit workspace is crucial for productivity and comfort. Natural light is the best source of light, and it’s important to make sure your workspace is positioned in a way that allows plenty of natural light to come in. If your workspace is not well-lit, it can cause eye strain, headaches, and fatigue, all of which can impact your productivity and motivation. Additionally, poor lighting can lead to mistakes and errors in your work, which can be costly and time-consuming. To ensure that your workspace is well-lit, you can consider adding additional lighting fixtures such as lamps or overhead lighting. You can also try using light-colored walls and furniture to help reflect light. It’s important to have a workspace that is comfortable and enjoyable to work in. A well-lit workspace is one of the most important factors in creating a comfortable and productive workspace.

2- Finding the right space for the workspace

When it comes to creating the perfect workspace, finding the right space is essential. You need a space that is spacious, well-lit, and comfortable to work in. The first step in finding the right space for your workspace is to determine your needs. Consider factors such as location, size, lighting, and amenities. Look for spaces that have plenty of natural light, as this will help to keep you alert and focused throughout the day. Consider the space’s layout and whether it will work for the type of work you do. Finally, don’t forget to consider the cost of the space, as you want to make sure it fits within your budget. By taking the time to find the right space for your workspace, you can create an environment that is conducive to productivity and success.

3- Incorporating Natural Elements into  the office space

Incorporating natural elements into your workspace can help create a calming and productive environment. Adding plants, for example, can help purify the air and bring a touch of nature indoors. Plants come in many sizes and shapes, making them a versatile addition to any workspace. If space is limited, you can always opt for a small potted plant on your desk. For those with more space, a larger plant or even a vertical garden can be a beautiful addition to the workspace. Natural light is also essential for a productive workspace. If possible, try to set up your workspace near a window to take advantage of natural light. This not only helps to improve your mood and reduce eye strain, but it can also help save on energy costs. If your workspace does not have access to natural light, consider investing in artificial lighting that mimics natural light. This will help to create a warm and inviting workspace that will be conducive to productivity and creativity. Remember, your workspace should feel like a place where you can be productive and comfortable, and incorporating natural elements can help achieve that feeling.

We have the experience and expertise to create a safe, functional and stylish office environment that meets your needs and exceeds your expectations.
